Welcome to some new members of the W.P.R.C.. They were voted in as club
members at the July 21st meeting in Latrobe, Pa. They are the
'W.E.A.R.S.' club located in Westmoreland County, Greater Pittsburgh VHF
Society from the Pittsburgh area, Floyd Titus WA3LCO of the Wattsburg
ARC from the Erie area, Laurel Highland VHF Society, Laurel Highland 6
Shooters, John Lindvay WB3IFD from the Erie area, and Wes Nicholas KD3IJ
from the Bradford area.

A new W.P.R.C. Repeater Directory has been posted on the web site. It
was released by our frequency coordinator Frank Bobro N3FB after the
July 21st meeting, and posted yesterday July 23rd. Thus its information
is more current than the recently published ARRL 2013/2014 Repeater
Directory. Please remember that the W.P.R.C. Repeater Directory is not
to be published in any form with the permission of the W.P.R.C..

Also, a list of those repeaters and link systems that were removed from
the frequency coordination database has also been released. Those on the
removed list are mostly because of non-responsiveness to the W.P.R.C.
Frequency Coordination Survey, or have notified the W.P.R.C. that they
no longer have or plan to return such a system to use. This survey
project was in effect from mid April 2012 to July 21, 2013.

Anyway, that's what I have to report.

We should soon be seeing the July 21st meeting minutes released and
posted on the W.P.R.C. web site. It's not ready yet, as it is being
reviewed by the secretary and his assistants.
